City of Des Plaines

The City of Des Plaines is a municipal government serving over 60,000 residents in the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing public services and community programs across departments including public works, community development, and parks and recreation.

In my role, I worked in the Marketing Department to create original graphic content and print and digital marketing materials that enhanced public awareness of city services and programs. I designed the City's 400-page annual budget book, event posters, billboards, and the citywide calendar. I also produced advertisements, quarterly performance reports for 8 departments, and bi-annual community magazines.
